Geena Davis

Geena can be described as an American actress, producer and writer who also advocates for women's rights. Her work has received praise for every one of her TV roles and for her numerous roles in Hollywood. Prior to her move into film she was a model in the fashion industry and also a part of the semi-finalist Team of Women's Archery in Olympics. The musician has been learning the piano and the flute since her childhood due to her love for music. She was an organist in an old church in Wareham. When she graduated in Drama from Boston University, she went to New York City to start her acting career. Following a long and difficult struggle, she ended up working odd jobs and doing other jobs before finally receiving her breakthrough. The model was successful before she made her debut in the film 'Tootsie' in 1982. The actress appeared on numerous television serials and was able to enjoy an extremely successful acting career. In fact she was awarded an Oscar Award with her film "The Accidental Traveler. The Golden Globe Award was also given to her for her part in an American television show.
