Samantha Mohr
Mohr was Mohr was a UGA student. She entered her first pageant following being offered by a friend. She won Miss Columbus 1985. In the wake of this victory, she could be eligible for the Miss Georgia pageant which was scheduled for June 1985. Mohr won Saturday's contest, which took place on June 22nd, 1985. Mohr took home more than 3500 dollars in scholarship money and additional prizes during the national pageant. She was Miss Georgia and was a public figure all over Georgia in the course of her duties. Mohr took part as Miss Georgia in Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City (New Jersey) on September 15, 1985. Mohr was able to determine his prediction that Susan Akin would win Miss America through computer-generated modeling. The odds of winning were 22:1. Mohr was not a Top-10 finalist for the title of Miss America. Mohr's reign in the role of Miss Georgia lasted until she succeeded her successor Marlesa Ball, Miss Georgia 1986 on June 28th on June 28, 1986.
